When Automobili Lamborghini SpA unveiled the Huracán EVO RWD in January 2020, we all knew there would be a Spyder version in the pipeline too, it took them another 5 months to virtually unveil the new for 2020 Lamborghini Huracàn EVO RWD Spyder, a rear-wheel drive convertible supercar, giving you the opportunity to enjoy that howling V10 behind your ears even better sitting in the driver’s seat of the latest from Sant’Agata.
Back in January I already made a virtual render of how the EVO version of the RWD Spyder would look, it wasn’t that difficult as we all know how the conversion from coupe to spyder took place on the original Huracán LP610-1, the first RWD or LP580-2 and more recently the Huracán EVO and it seems I was right the EVO RWD Spyder looks exactly as I imagined five months ago.
Highlights of Lamborghini Huracán EVO RWD Spyder
The Huracán EVO RWD Spyder comes with the same modified front and rear section when compared to the all-wheel-drive Huracán EVO, and also a power decrease to 610 hp compared to 640 hp on the EVO. Also note the Huracán EVO RWD Spyder comes standard with ventilated, cross-drilled steel brakes behind 19-inch Kari wheels, carbon-ceramic disk brakes, and 20-inch wheels are optionally available.
The Huracán EVO RWD Spyder still uses a soft top when the competition has turned to panels, but a folding soft top does remind us of the real spyder models from the past, and when closed the experience is very close to the coupe anyway. In a mere 17 seconds, the roof can be lowered or raised, even when driving up to 50 km/h (31 Mph) the top is available in a range of different shades by the way.
Naturally, the large, 8.4 inch HMI touchscreen is still present on the central console inside the Huracán EVO RWD Spyder, the epicenter for the multimedia system today controlling telephone, internet access, Apple Car Play, a way to change settings and naturally a complete navigation system.
In case the long list of regular options available on the Huracán EVO RWD Spyder isn’t enough to satisfy the customer, the Ad Personam team will be more than happy to increase the base price of this car to unseen heights.

- Acceleration: With its powerful engine, the Huracán EVO RWD Spyder can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.5 seconds and reach a top speed of 201 mph.

The Huracán EVO RWD Spyder also features an electronically controlled limited-slip differential and Lamborghini’s ANIMA (Adaptive Network Intelligence Management) system, which allows the driver to switch between different driving modes (Strada, Sport, and Corsa) to adjust the car’s handling and performance to their liking.
- Brakes: The Huracán EVO RWD Spyder comes standard with carbon-ceramic brakes, which provide excellent stopping power and reduce brake fade during intense driving.

MPG & Fuel Economy
The Lamborghini Huracán EVO RWD Spyder is a high-performance sports car that is not known for its fuel economy. According to the EPA, the Huracán EVO RWD Spyder has an estimated fuel economy of 13 mpg in the city and 18 mpg on the highway.
It’s important to note that the fuel economy of the Huracán EVO RWD Spyder can vary depending on driving conditions and driving style. The car’s powerful 5.2-liter V10 engine consumes a lot of fuel, especially when driven aggressively.
Huracán EVO RWD Spyder is not subject to fuel economy regulations in many parts of the world due to its classification as a high-performance sports car. As such, many owners of this type of car prioritize performance over fuel efficiency.
Interior & Exterior Design
The Lamborghini Huracán EVO RWD Spyder features a striking and aggressive exterior design that is sure to turn heads. The car’s low, wide stance and sharp angles give it a bold and menacing look, while its retractable soft top adds an element of versatility and style.
The front of the Huracán EVO RWD Spyder features a signature Y-shaped LED headlight design and a large, hexagonal grille that serves as an air intake for the engine. The car’s sleek, aerodynamic lines and sculpted body panels give it a sense of motion even when it’s standing still.
Moving to the interior, the Huracán EVO RWD Spyder features a driver-focused cockpit that is both luxurious and functional. The car’s seats are upholstered in premium leather and offer excellent support and comfort. The dashboard features a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster that displays information such as speed, RPM, and navigation. The car’s infotainment system is controlled via an 8.4-inch touchscreen display and includes features such as Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and Bluetooth connectivity.
The interior of the Huracán EVO RWD Spyder also includes a number of unique design elements that are characteristic of Lamborghini. These include hexagonal motifs on the seats, dashboard, and air vents, as well as a start/stop button that is covered by a red flip-up cover that is reminiscent of a fighter jet’s missile launch button.
