DELIVERY TIME ON A LAMBORGHINI REDUCED

The financial recession is bad news for most people, but there is a bright side to it after all, the more exclusive items like Lamborghini sports cars are now more available, be it on the second hand market and when ordering a brand new one.

Sales for Lamborghini have dropped over the last months, just like for any other high end car builder, but there is a positive note to this, if you still are in the market for a brand new Raging Bull it will now be delivered about twice as fast as before, no more 12 months waiting time on models like the Gallardo LP560-4 Spyder or the Murciélago LP640-4 … as demand dropped these magnificent cars become more readily available from Sant’Agata.

So if you were still considering buying a Raging Bull, don’t wait too long or you could be waiting even longer, the economical crisis isn’t going to last forever, so delivery times will start to increase once sales pick up again.

During a recent interview with Automobili Lamborghini SpA CEO Stephan Winkelmann he stated that 2010 will remain a difficult year for car builders like Lamborghini, he hopes sales will be back to normal towards 2012 only, but at the moment they are still producing slightly less cars than demanded by the market to keep them as exclusive as before.

Naturally we can’t be sure that sales (and subsequently production) will be recovering the 30% loss of the recent months by 2012, with all the hybrids and other ways of reducing co2 emissions it is likely the Raging Bull models in three years will not be the same as the ones we know today, but I’m confident both the Murciélago and the Gallardo successors will again be stunning Italian exotics that will amaze the world once they are unveiled in the new ‘green’ era.
