Highway Road Racing is a fantastic highway racing game with vibrant graphics and awesome driving physics. The graphics are not that realistic, however, the environment and the cars go with each other pretty well. Despite the decent graphics, There are no customization options available for the cars. The Lamborghinis in the game look really good driving through the canyons, however, you’ll have to play this game for a while to unlock the Lamborghini Murcielago and Aventador. Don’t forget to drive through the traffic vehicles closely because you get extra points for it. When you make your first 5,000 coins in this game be sure you buy the NITRO upgrade to cover the longest distance possible.

How to play and get started with Highway Road Racing?

Controls

• W, A, S, D/Arrow Keys: Drive/Steer/Brake
• F: Nitro

Objective

This game is an endless highway racing game. The objective of the game is to drive your supercar as far as you can to get the highest amount of points. There are 3 highway locations where you can drive your car in and compete in 3 cool highway racing modes. Here are the racing modes and what you can expect from them:

• ONE-WAY: Drive your supercar through the highway where you see the traffic going in one direction only on the four-lane highway. This racing mode is ENDLESS.
• TWO-WAY: Drive your supercar through the highway roads, this time you will see the traffic going two ways on the four lanes. You get extra points if you ride in the incoming traffic zone. This racing mode is ENDLESS.
• TIME ATTACK: Drive as far as you can in the given 100 seconds and make the highest score possible on the highway. This racing mode is TIME BOUND.

NOTE: The game rewards extra points when you nearly miss a crash with a traffic vehicle. Don’t forget to drive your car above 100 km/h to get the extra HIGH-SPEED reward too.

Starting The Game!

• Click on the ’PLAY’ button in orange located at the BOTTOM RIGHT of the screen. (marked by red arrow)

Car Selection

• You can browse through all the cars in the game by clicking on the arrows at the LEFT and RIGHT of the screen in black. (marked by the blue arrow)
• Click on the ’BUY’ button in orange color located at the BOTTOM RIGHT of the screen to buy the car. (marked by red arrow)

• When you’ve decided on a car for the session, click on the ’NEXT’ button in orange located at the BOTTOM RIGHT of the screen to proceed to race mode selection. (marked by red arrow)

Racing Mode Selection

• You can select any racing mode from the 3 racing modes buttons in the game. Click on any of the racing mode buttons to proceed to its map selection. (marked by the blue arrow)
• You can make a high score for each game mode, which is mentioned at the bottom of each racing mode button.

 

Map/Theme Selection

• You can select any of the themes/maps from the 3 highway location buttons in the game. Click on any of the highway maps to proceed to start the session. (marked by the blue arrow)

What are the upgrades and customization options available in the game?

Highway Road Racing offers cool wheel rims and 6 essential upgrades that you can apply to the car. All the upgrades come with a price, even the wheel rims cost 2500 coins. Here’s how you access the customization and upgrades in the game:

Wheel Rims

• In the CAR SELECTION screen, Click on the ’WHEELS’ icon in the black panel located at the TOP of the screen. (marked by red arrow)
• You can click on any of the wheel buttons to apply it to your car, you will be charged for locked wheel rims which are mentioned at the bottom of the wheel rims button. (marked by the blue arrow)

Car Upgrades

There are 6 upgrade options that you can apply to your car. The game offers 3-level-based upgrades ENGINE, BRAKE PRESSURE, and HANDLING. Also, the game also offers one-time upgrade options like NITRO, POLICE LIGHTS, and TURBO. All these upgrades come with a hefty price tag. Here’s how you can access it:

• Click on the SETTINGS button on the TOP CENTER of the screen to access the UPGRADES section.

• You can buy all 6 upgrades by clicking on their specific upgrade button. (marked by blue button)
